Description:
This is the first typewriter that I took all the body panels off and the platen, cleaned it all and then put it back together successfully! I like the size and weight of this machine. Still need to do some cleaning or adjustments to get a smoother action our of the keys. When replacing the ribbon I decided to try a black/blue combination. Not sure if I like it or not.

Collecting typewriters was never something I thought I would do. But then a relatives fire damaged Royal Varsity crossed my path and I just couldn't throw it out. A local typewriter repair shop said it was too far gone to fix, and I thought to myself "well, then I can feel free to try and repair it." So, I started researching typewriters and caught the bug! I enjoy tinkering with them and getting them to work again. My husband recently asked me what I was going to do with all the typewriters and I replied I don't know. For now I am just going to enjoy learning about them, working on them and using them.
