Description:
Spanish version of the first series Olivetti Lettera 22 (round black keys) in L version (no tabulator). It was called Pluma 22 and the logo on the paper rest reads Hispano-Olivetti. The keyboard is obviously Spanish. Otherwise it's identical to the Italian model.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Hispano-Olivetti Pluma 22 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Hispano-Olivetti Serial Number page and the Hispano-Olivetti Pluma 22 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
