Description:
Found on craigslist in Boones Mill, Virginia. This machine was refurbished in the early 60s and given to the man I bought it from as a high school graduation gift. He used it for one assignment at Virginia Tech and his professor told him he could handwrite his papers because an engineer would have a secretary working for him. And so it went home and waited in the basement unused until I got it. And about 50 years after it's first assignment turned in to Virginia Tech I submitted another to Nikki Giovanni's poetry class. It is an excellent typer.

I am an aspiring novelist and avid typewriter enthusiast from the New River Valley in Virginia. I am a proud Virginia Tech graduate with an education in creative writing. I use typewriters for all my writing and am working on a novel. I also do street poetry. I often can be found writing on one of my machines in downtown Blacksburg and enjoying a drink.
