Description:
This typewriter was a gift from a friend! Yes--I bought her a nice lunch. The machine had been sitting in a garage for a couple decades.
I cleaned it up and found it works fine--skippy yes, because I make Royals skip, it seems, with skippy finger sliding action--but oh, the large typeface is one I cherish!

Typewriter user since childhood--"Endofthehall Press" (produced a magazine for my big sister, I did) and avid hunter for many years. Partial to portables/ultraportables, but do love my standard models too. I use my typewriters for letters, recipes, lists, stories, pondering, and in art/fabric creations.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal HH on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal HH By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
