Description:
This seems to be much like earlier Juwel models, to judge from photos, but with a different shell.
Unlike others who have created Juwel galleries, I don't think this is a bad typewriter. It's solidly made, fairly snappy, and has a quiet, purring carriage return.
This one has a strange keyboard: QWERTY but with characters for French and Italian. You have to shift to get numerals and the period.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Juwel Rapid on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Juwel Serial Number page and the Juwel Rapid By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
