Description:
1952 is the second year of production for the Model P. This typewriter was one of the first 10,000 machines manufactured out of approximately 100,000 machines between 1951 & 1958. This model has the QWERY international keyboard with accents for foreign languages. This model was apparently used by Hemingway later in his career. The Case is is near perfect condition and is the Typewriter itself. It was found in the Netherlands.

I am an avid typewriter enthusiast with currently over one hundred (100) typewriters in my collection (and growing). I am a proud TWDB Patron. I have also collected vintage briefcases (mostly Hartmann) Movie Cameras (8mm & 16mm) and many Fountain Pens. I am the author of the novella 'Killer on the Canvas'. I am also a big Don Quixote fan. I make my home in Southern California.
My Typewriter manufacture dates currently range from 1883 to 1996.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Halda P on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Halda Serial Number page and the Halda P By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
