Description:
Referred to as an SM-1 (Schreibmachine Mittel). Despite being an earlier vintage than SM-2, 3 or 4, this has plastic platen control tips. Keytops are unsprung and the feet are different. Otherwise, the working parts seem to be identical to the 2, 3 and 4.
