Description:
This Model was built after WWll like before
Now Groma was a VEB (Volkseigener Betrieb).
She is in very good condition, paint is nearly perfect, the typeface a little bit bumpy, but it is a travelling maschine, so there can't be the precision
like on an office typewriter.
The type/ribbon-cover is made of cast-aluminium,
because in sheet metal it wasn't possible to made.
Heavy chrome, glossy paint, nice green keys, by the way the reason for my 8€ purchase.

Collector of machines from 1910's to 1960's.
Mostly german typewriters.
The design is always important for me, first it must be nice,
than look if it writes well or not.
I Always get a cheap purchase of poor condition-maschines,
so i have to clean, oil, polish and repair.
Try to save the present condition, no Restauration to new-condition.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Groma Modell N on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Groma Serial Number page and the Groma Modell N By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
