Description:
Nice specimen of Underwood Champion with Italian keyboard from 1950. Between the late 40s and early 60s, the shapes of the typewriters become more rounded and it is in this period that the most beautiful machines in the history of the typewriters were created.

I have been an Italian typewriter collector for many many years. At that time, I loved very old typewriters from late 1800s to early 1900s. After a break of a few years I returned to collect typewriters but no longer so old, I prefer now the design of the 40's, 50's and 60's. Yes, I am an affectionate collector of Olivetti, of course, but I'm attracted to all the other brands from that period, not just Italian.
