Description:
This was a flea market find for $30. Very clean, works great but was stiff at first from lack of use. A great all round typer.
Came with a case that would have gone with a Speedline Silent (see gallery). Odd, but I think it was bought that way just given that a lot of original paperwork was still included. May have been a dealers way of getting rid of extra previous generation cases, or the original had a defect and was swapped out.
(Updated)
After seeing several machines on eBay, shopgoodwill, and even here on the database I have concluded that the black cases were used in the first few years of Super 5 production.
