Description:
After enjoying my first Royal (a KMM with a 14" carriage) I realized it was quite a beast to move around. It also had a wonky right-margin. I started looking for a portable manual typewriter and after lots of searching the local Facebook Marketplace I was lucky to find this Royal Quiet de Luxe model from 1950 (after the style change from tombstone glass keys to molded contoured plastic keys). Everything seems to work perfectly - no keys stick, touch-typing pressure seems even, normal margins work, magic margin settings work.
