Description:
It was a good thing, that Gossen decided to use its know-how in the production of electric messurment devices, and constructed this ultra portable Typewriter that should lay the stepstone for an admired modell family.
By all its precise manufacturing I have to make a little complain about its snap-on lid. The used tin is too wobbly, so that even after hours of tinkering and bending, the simple mechanism doesn´t really work sufficent. I usually have too "rattle" the Tippa a little out of it´s shell.
The later case design used just one locking lever, but that didn´t really solved the problem.
Anyway, why thinking about the case, if it´s the inner values that shine :-)

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Gossen Tippa on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Gossen Serial Number page and the Gossen Tippa By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
