Description:
Looks better than it types.
This typewriter had a hard life. Parts of the frame and some keylevers are bent and one of the feet has been soldered back on. I suspect the loose carriage is responsible for the bad print quality.
The back panel of the typewriter is made of thick metal and used for mounting parts.
According to the user manual, the Everest 90 was available in 11 colors. Newspaper ads show the Everest 90 was priced just below Triumph's basic portable, the Durabel.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.
