Description:
A rare example of a postwar (1944–1949) Ukrainian typewriter. UA/RU layout. This particular machine was in use till summer of 2015 and was sold by a previous owner later that year. It is in nice optical and mechanical condition, fairly complete and came with original case.
Kyiv has no tabulator, ribbon colour selector, left carriage release, automatic ribbon reverse and typing action is a bit hard. The keyboard doesn't block when the line ends and the bell rings on the last available symbol.
On the whole, it's a very, very simple machine, but at least it is reliable. And I like its 1930s look.
