Description:
Discovered in Washington DC via craigslist and snagged by my parents for $50. I think this is an interesting machine being made in the USA right before the 50s and McCarthyism and the Red Scare and all that. I imagine a Russian language typewriter would have been contraband at the time. Perhaps since it is from the Washington DC area it was used by some government contractor. Who knows? It is in excellent shape and I don't suppose it has seen a lot of use. I haven't used it much, three semesters of Russian left me with an ability to read some and write none.
