Description:
Example of a S.I.M. Mod. 6 in the economy version. Compared to the standard Mod. 6 (sold under many different brands), this typewriter lacks a color selector, a front ribbon reversing switch, has an embossed black paint job, and lacks the chrome and construction details that the standard model possesses. Aesthetically, it remains an interesting machine.

Hi!
I love going to second-hand markets to find typewriters to valorize. I want each of my typewriters to be functional, as I use them to actually write every day. I collect all kinds of typewriter, I'm (slowly) adding my 50+ collection to the database, meanwhile the collection is growing much faster than my uploads.. and that's a problem!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the SIM 6 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the SIM Serial Number page and the SIM 6 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
