Acquired spring 2024. Elite type.
I seem to have a knack for attracting Royal portables; this is my second Quiet De Luxe, and eighth Royal portable overall. Our '48 QDL here is indeed very "de luxe" and is actually quiet -a pleasant surprise! This very clean typewriter came to me from a local estate. My brother was smitten by its good looks and it has since passed into his possession.
