Royal De Luxe. This is the first typewriter I bought for my wife. We found it at an antique shop. The machine and case were in great condition, so we thought... Why not? Let's buy a typewriter!

Today... Dozens of typewriter purchases later, I can come back to this machine and say it is a joy to write on. It doesn't have the personality of an SM3 or the feel of a Hermes 3000, but it is a solid machine that writes and feels great!

I like that the case had pegs in which the typewriters feet slide onto. Then, there are levers to lock the machines in place. These machines do not move at all in the case and are very secure.
