Description:
IBM electromatic, 1948 going by the serial no, Model 01 perhaps but a variant I haven't seen online.
Has both numeric 0 and 1 keys, and all digits except 1 when shifted are smaller digits instead of punctuation.
first gallery photo is the typewriter in barn find condition.
Most unusually, the typewriter has an extra α (alpha) key at the lower left of the keyboard. β (beta) when shifted.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the IBM Electromatic on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the IBM Serial Number page and the IBM Electromatic By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
