Bought for pennies at auction as a repair skill-building exercise. This thing was ruined cosmetically and mechanically: no case lid, peeling paint, missing front trim, broken or stuck everything, harbouring epic quantities of gunk and dust...
Happy to report it's now working great, after a prolonged battle with sticky typebars! Putting aside things that can't be fixed like the missing components, it's now a pleasure to type on. Love a good diamond in the rough.
