I found this beauty in fairly immaculate condition in an antique shop for the bargain sum of £40. Needless to say she came home with me and after tightening a few screws and giving her the once over with the furniture polish she was almost as good as new. In fact better as she has the patina of age. She has an extra key in the bottom row which is fairly unique and like most imperials has an elite typeface. The basket removal feature certainly makes cleaning easier, but there wasn't much cleaning to do and mercifully no rust either. Now one of my older ladies she will help facilitate the typewriter revolution in the south east of England.
