1946 Wanderer Continental Serial # 961198 1946 Wanderer Continental typewriter, Serial # 961198 Darko Petrovic's 1946 Wanderer Continental typewriter. 2023-08-31 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Darko Petrovic: 1946 Wanderer Continental Serial # 961198 Some interesting facts: platen is wide 65 cm (approx. 25inch) so it would easily put a paper format size A1, total width is exactly 100 cm (approx. 39inch), and it is 24,8 kg (approx. 55lbs) heavy. Felt urge to upload this machine as I didnt found machine as this one on the internet. I think the type is S23.

It was used in Slovenian factory of enamelware dish called ''EMO'' till approx. 1985. They were typewriting additional text on blueprints.

New typewriter enthusiast. This Wanderer typewriter is my very first typewriter. It was a gift from my parents. Spent a whole day just learning what is what and just came across this beautifull website. I have seen a lot of hard work, dedication and love from galleries in this community.

I will get typewriter in better condition. Still waiting for ribbons to test writing. Not a typewriter specialist but feels very sturdy and the controls are precise as they would be intact without any maintance or servicing. This typewriter survived some hard days. Step by step I will restore him and I will keep you in date with my little project. Sorry for bad photos.
