Description:
This typewriter is the first I bought, when I was 8 so I think it was 9 years ago. Got it for 5€.
It was sold with the case but lost it over the times, since it stayed for a loooong time in a closet, and then when we moved we lost it.
I pretty much like it even if it's not in a very good shape (some chrome is missing, the carriage return lever is scratching on the central part, the margin selectors are very rusty, so it needs a good cleaning, even if a servicing would be less important since the machine still works quite well. Not a perfect nor valuable antique but still a quite loving one since it's the first I've bought

Collectionner located in Corsica,
I've been collecting typewriters for 3 years now, and I spend some of my free time going in flea markets or on the internet to find some good deals.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood Champion on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood Champion By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
