I bought this machine on eBay for about $60. I bought it because it was the favorite machine of one of my favorite writers, humorist S.J. Perelman. It is a fine, seemingly delicate typewriter, built like a Swiss watch; sometimes I enjoy using it, sometimes I don't. But I'm crazy about how it looks.
