Description:
I was looking at a forties Bar-Lock, and suddenly one appeared in Mercado Libre (our eBay). The asking price was a little bit high, but the seller and I could arrive at an arrangement.
Finally, the price was under 150US$, which I consider a fair trade.
The Bar-Lock color is in a very British dark green shade (well, consider all the typewriter is very British).
Is easy to see she was well cared for during its lifespan: the usually lost ribbon spool covers are present, and even both spools are original Bar-Lock ones, not generic.
All its seals and marks are present and in very good condition.
The typewriter is basket shifted.
The ribbon color change window indicator located at the front is a nice detail.
