Estate sale find, $25. Works really well after cleaning the hammers, only issue found is that the spring for the bell is missing so it's not respecting the right margin setting.

Got my first typewriter at age 4, a Tom Thumb. Got my first real typewriter at age 15, a Smith-Corona DeVille. Have been collecting typewriters since 2010 when I found a 1945 Smith-Corona Silent at an estate sale. Current count is around 12, half of them are in storage .
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Woodstock 5N on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Woodstock Serial Number page and the Woodstock 5N By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
