Description:
Purchased from another collector in Maryland in November 2024. Unfortunately I know nothing about this machine's provenance. It has an unusual keyboard layout-- QWERTY, but with characters useful in German and Spanish. It includes an Ñ key, but no other accents for Spanish-language use. It also has an I-beam character, presumably used for copy editing.

I have a modest collection I started as a teenager. I recently started actively collecting machines again and now I’m back up to about 20 machines.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia 8 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia 8 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
