1944 Imperial Good Companion Serial # EZ631 1944 Imperial Good Companion typewriter, Serial # EZ631 Evan Bezeredi's 1944 Imperial Good Companion typewriter. 2019-05-01 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Evan Bezeredi: 1944 Imperial Good Companion Serial # EZ631 Manufactured during WWII, this machine boasts a cork platen and cork body mount bushings as rubber was made scarce by the war effort. This wrinkle black, mostly functional machine is plagued with rust, line lock binding, and is in desperate need of new rubber feet and feed rollers. It lacks a top cover for the case. One of my most desired machines. I look forward to restoring it to it's former beauty.

This machine was formerly a member of the Peter Weil Collection.

I work with modern technology during the week while repairing and rejuvenating antiquated technology on the weekend! I'm a small time collector that's more interested in servicing and repairing typewriters than collecting them.
