Description:
This machine is known as the "Standard Clipper MILL" - it was used in the military to type forms. All the letters are capitals, all the time. Awesome! Just adore the curlicues on the typeface... check it out!

Started with one typewriter in our small cottage, and ended up with over twenty! Transformed a closet into a gothic "typewriterbrary" and it makes a great centerpiece for the house, and an easy way to access all the typewriters for writing letters, journaling, and whatnot, as well as keeping them dust-free in the betweentimes.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Standard on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Standard By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
