Description:
Bought at an antique store in Daytona Beach, FL, Sept. 27, 2017.
Sweet little machine. Everything seems to work, although it needs a lot of cleaning. Box is in decent shape.
Royal stopped selling or renting typewriters to civilians in December, 1942, as all of them were needed for the war effort. This one would have been manufactured right around that time, or slightly after.

Grew up playing (and later writing) on my mother's massive electric typewriter, went to school when typing classes were still a thing. Now married with two grown sons and an appreciation for beautiful old writing machines.
