Description:
[This machine was sold to a collector in the states] A machine bought from a man whose father used this machine as his business machine. He was a merchant who travelled Europe. The seller told me as a fun tidbit that this machine had typed out contracts and letters of confirmed sales for amounts that summed up to the millions. The machine itself is in a very good state. Paint is almost chip free with only a few surface scratches here and there. Typing is fantastic. Even when I got the machine it did not require any cleaning at all to function, save for one type arm. Typeface sample is with two colours, but the second colour is dark blue so you have to look close to see it.

I am a Norwegian fellow who enjoys tinkering and fixing up typewriters. One day I decided I wanted a typewriter to write letters on. I bought one that turned out not to work. I got annoyed and decided I should be able to figure out what was wrong and fix it. I did it, but the rush of successfully mending such an intricate machine was like a drug. I wanted more. I decided I would try to buy non-functioning, but pretty machines, fix them and sell them before repeating the process. What I didn't expect was that I would fall in love with the machines I fix so now I suddenly find myself a bit of a collector.
