Description:
A standard sterling model by Smith-Corona in the black speed-line paint work. Interestingly the key board has two % keys listed, one at shift + 5, the other at shift + 1/2; however only the later is a % the former is actually a £. The platen isn't too bad on this machine, it still types well. I haven't done any work to this machine, all I have do is removed some of the debris it had in the mechanism (old sweet wrappers) and replaced the ribbon. Does stick a bit on L and G but easily rectified once it has a bit of TLC.
