Description:
A sturdy and lightly operating example of an American Typewriter, made in a time, when Typewriter production had bin shrunked to benefit war efforts.
Also here, I love it´s patina, that tells a little of it´s intense use. Where and when I don´t know, but the seller speculated it could´ve bin used in a military related administration, due to the number "98" at it´s case.
Sadly all tab-stops are missing.
To optimize a occasionally not engaging spacebar, I attached some shrinktube onto the lever that is touching the escapement. I could also have done this via bending this lever, but this works flawlessly, and is therefore ok for me.
