There's one that has seen things, yet is still a looker. Of all my 2000s, that's my design favorite. It belonged for two generations to the owners of a hardware store. It was catastrophically overgreased, took me half a day to rub it down, and decades ago, the last one to have used it before myself seems to have tried to write on an adhesive address label, whose glue face promptly found its way right below the platen and made the machine unusable. Now it works perfectly, besides being very shiny all the time, of course.
