Description:
Dragged this one out from under a pile of empty suitcases in an antique mall in Sydney. It is in rather good nick cosmetically, but it is just atrocious mechanically. The type sample is a delightful red-black mix because the ribbon vibrator is fickle with its positioning.
However, the fatal flaw is a tooth has broken off the escapement wheel and every nine characters, the carriage will skip a space. This is extremely irritating in combination with a broken backspace key...
