Description:
A friend who works at a community art supply and stuff recycling place called when this came in. The donor said his mother was an artist who intended to use this for art but never got around to it. At first we thought “typewriter drawings†but as he continued talking we realized it was jewelry. Sometimes it’s just dumb luck, y’know? Actually, the keys are the best part of this thing at the moment....

While I find all of mankind's inventions interesting, I am most enchanted by the human-scale arts and devices, the ones that can be created (and repaired) in a home workshop or studio; the ones that can be understood by looking at them; the ones that do something useful or stir admiration. Typewriters work for me.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal Arrow on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal Arrow By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
