Description:
A very attractive machine. This is one with the infamous ss keys although it has a QWERTY layout. I suspect that it may have been taken as 'war booty' and the Y and Z keys transposed. The labels on the shift keys look newer than the other keys as well.

Accidental collector.
I originally bought one typewriter for personal use, but within weeks was buying more as the collecting bug crept up on me. I am mainly interested in European makes from the 50s and 60s.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Groma Modell N on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Groma Serial Number page and the Groma Modell N By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
