Description:
This machine is labeled simply "Corona" and "L. C. Smith & Corona Typewriters" (on the back). It's a simple machine without paper support, bicolor ribbon, tabulator, or touch selector -- but it still has some advantages over Royals and Remingtons of the day (such as basket shift).

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Corona Comet on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Corona Serial Number page and the Corona Comet By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
