Description:
This was a machine thrown in for free when I bought my 1971 Hermes 3000. It is in need of 4 new feet, which I plan on getting for it soon. Having no feet installs impacts the functionality of this machine a lot, as some of the mechanical parts on the underside make contact with your desk without the feet. I propped the 4 corners up on coasters and it actually typed very well, and is in excellent cosmetic shape. The H typebar is the only one that gets stuck, and will need some attention as well. I'll tackle that when I get the new feet. This will probably replace the 1948 one in my collection, which is in much rougher cosmetic shape, but fully functional.
Update 2021-12-19: New feet have been acquired and installed, segment has been flushed many times, and carriage rails oiled. This machine is back in good working condition!
