What a great and unexpected estate sale find. I'd gone for a different typewriter; my heart sank when I saw a man walk out with it. I'm glad I waited around another hour to be let in and look around. My spirits lifted as soon as I saw this Champion sitting on the floor. I immediately noticed the thick case. This Underwood Champion has legs! Despite missing out on a Corona Sterling from 1930's I left that estate sale feeling like a winner and not empty-handed after all. Good things come to those who wait!
