Description:
Found at a Flea Market.
The indexing was not quite right, as was the line space selector, but otherwise it is in incredible condition!
It works well, and the only thing I wish it had is a margin release.
It does remind me of the Remington 3B and Corona Comet and Comet De Luxe in that it was mid-range machine that was not quite the budget model nor was it at the top- of-the -line for their brand.
But still great machines!

I started collecting typewriters several years ago and it started with a late 1960s Smith-Corona Sterling portable that I got as a gift.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Underwood Ace on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Underwood Serial Number page and the Underwood Ace By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
