I'm an archaeologist who writes heritage books and collects Japanese ceramics as well as quite a number of typewriters that I've acquired through purchase or as gifts over the last 10 years in the Philippines as well as in the US and Japan.
I'm currently a visiting professor at a university in Japan and it is heaven here to see so many typewriters being auctioned online!
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Durabel on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Durabel By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
