I bought this from a local gentleman in the spring of 2021. I have good reason to believe this was professionally serviced sometime in the not-too-distant past. It types superbly and is very clean as well. An excellent example of Royal craftsmanship at its finest. More photos and typeface sample to come.

Royal would effect several small changes to its keyboards in 1940 that make these '39s unique. The large round shift keys would become rectangular, and the tab key and margin release would swap places.
