Description:
Elegant portable Typewriter in a thin deep black
NC-Finish, which was used in Car-Produktion in
the 1920's.
Very fine Paper-Holder, the reason why i bought it.
A German Typewriter from 1939 is strange, i hope it was used to write Loveletters!
i bought it in good condition on a Flea-Market for 11,47€.
Remarkable are the Ribbon-Covers, which found on later Typewriters from Olympia after WWll

Collector of machines from 1910's to 1960's.
Mostly german typewriters.
The design is always important for me, first it must be nice,
than look if it writes well or not.
I Always get a cheap purchase of poor condition-maschines,
so i have to clean, oil, polish and repair.
Try to save the present condition, no Restauration to new-condition.
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia Diplomat on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia Diplomat By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
