I am fascinated by the mechanics of the various typewriters. I love the challenge to repair even severe cases. I'm trying to preserve the testimonies of the history of the typewriters.
I live near Dresden, so I am interested especially for the history of Seidel & Naumann AG and the typewriters model 'Erika' before and after the 2nd World War produced in Dresden.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Olympia 8 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Olympia Serial Number page and the Olympia 8 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
