Description:
My first typewriter restoration, this Model 2 was in a poor condition and needed some mechanical TLC to recommission her. She has also undergone a light cleaning, and is now workable after many years of arthritic typebars, a ribbon lifter that just wouldn't lift and a silent bell. Sadly missing her top cover, she now works in all areas, has found her voice again, but needs some slight adjustments on a few typebars and a key refresh.
I am now restoring her case and hope to use her on a regular basis.

Amateur collector and restorer of abandoned and neglected portables (Bar-let 2, Corona 3, Corona 4, Silver Reed, Remington Travel Riter, Maritsa 30) nursing them back to full health and making them feel loved and useful again. Loving the Typewriter Database!
