Excavated this Underwood out of a garage in Reseda, CA in 1991 - I may have checked the keys at the time... but basically it's been with me and in the box until now. Photo and type sample are without cleanup and with same ribbon...

First started using a SMC Galaxie Twelve to type out and paste a zine in high school in the late 80's - I've been picking up typewriters as opportunity presents itself ever since. It's more of a casual hobby than a compulsion. Writing on a typewriter seems just the right speed for not getting ahead of what I have to say.
