Description:
Compact portable with a very light key action and smooth carriage return.
On this particular machine it is possible to overrun the left-hand margin bij returning the carriage too fast. Adjusting the margin stops with a piece of thick paper helps to prevent this.
Typing fast comes naturally on this typewriter; thanks to the rock hard platen the typing sounds like firing a machine gun.

I live in The Netherlands.
Most common typewriter brands over here are Triumph/Adler, Olympia, Erika, Olivetti, Remington and Brother.
I collect and restore typewriters to learn about their design and to write with them.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Triumph Durabel on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Triumph Serial Number page and the Triumph Durabel By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
