Description:
The Corona Sterling Floating Shift typewriter embodies the late deco style called "Streamline Moderne." Graceful curves, liquid gloss burgundy color, and an elegant return lever make this machine a sight for sore eyes. Typing feel is snappy, which I believe is typical of Smith-Corona machines, even down to the later models.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Smith Corona Sterling on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Smith Corona Serial Number page and the Smith Corona Sterling By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
