Description:
Another O that I purchased in non-working condition, hoping to be used as parts for my '37. Alas, that did not happen, as I was able to fix this one. It had a spring jump and the escapement was not catching.
It is a beautiful machine, in the Elite font.

I caught the typewriter bug when I fell in love with an Underwood 5. A few months later and I am now up to 10 typewriters, with the majority consisting of Royal P's and O's. I keep telling myself that "this is the last one", but we all know how that goes..
RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Royal O on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Royal Serial Number page and the Royal O By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
